A4 Format & Hyperlinked PDFs

I know I just sent an update out two days ago, BUT(!!!) two new things:

  1. The A4 version of Wanderlust is now available! Folks that have the ISO standard sized paper at home (i.e. most of the world) can now print out and assemble a copy of Wanderlust for themselves at home. All of the A4 files are combined into a single ZIP file. I am still running into an issue with Affinity and the secondary layout, so the journal is currently only available in the Booklet format, but that's the more fun format anyway!
  2. In the previous update, I forgot to mention that all of pdfs for digital viewing (i.e. the Pages and Sheets PDFs in both Letter and A4 size) are now Bookmarked and Hyperlinked, making it much easier to jump around to the section of the book that you want to find.

What's Next?

With the editing pass and A4 format out of the way, the next major effort towards completion is Art! As I mentioned in my update a few months ago, I'm still slowly working away at the final art pieces, but I'm having a hard time with it. I'm hoping to get the final pieces completed and added to the book by the end of the year. The remaining pieces are:

  • A 2-page spread piece for the Front and Back Covers
  • A 1-page piece at the start of the Introduction section
  • A 1-page piece at the start of the Set the Table section
  • A 1/4-page piece on page 26

I will also be revising The Wanderer's Journal as the current design was made as a placeholder before I got around to putting the rules text to layout. This might include a revised cover graphic, but I'm not sure about that yet.

Once that's done, I'll be taking a bit of a break on Wanderlust. I still intend to get to The Wanderlust Appendix eventually, but I want to spend some time building up my pen-and-ink and watercolor skill before diving into that project.
